Iustitia - the final fourth cardinal virtue, which keeps the three parts body, soul and spirit (presented by the virtue Temperantia, Fortitudo and Prudentia) in balance and unites them. Scales and sword are common symbols of Iustitia, seldom, but also known is the crane with a stone. The blind Iustitia (with covered eyes) was a later iconographical development (around 1500). The eagle, the globe, the book of law are other symbols.
