Hi to all out there. It is me, Violet. I came to Ella in late summer of 2000 when she saw me in a market for sale together with other normal budgies. So she bought me. First I was not lucky, because I have to left the others. But then I came to this motley assortment. I like it to be here. I am a total active budgie and I love also the milletsprays.

I also try to sing like a blackbird, or I repeat easy melodies Ella sang to me. When I hear anybody of my closer humans, I call for them in my begging sound. So they have to come to me and I talk to them in a special way. I only talk to the humans so. It is trying to speak, but I can not do it. It sounds like a human is speaking to us in our language mixed up with a blackbird' singing.
I saw also the way Lemon talked to Ella and found out that it has success when you do it. Yes, Lemon was a very intelligent budgie, like me. So when there my milletspray is eaten up I wait until my humans are coming and then I am looking to them and back to the milletspray, then again to the humans. I repeat that so long until they understand. As well I do that if food is empty or I want salad in our salad-box or any of the toys felt down. And they understand that soon and I can go on with my food.

Comment from Ella: It is really facinating when she wants to tell you that the food boxes are empty... When I told this to anybody they smiled, but they have seen it with Lemon and Violet in the meantime with own eyes and be facinated, too. So if Violet would be alone I am sure that she would learn to speak!

I am now together with Musco. He is so stupid to feed me whole day long. Yes, I know that I became overweighted and that I cannot fly much anymore, because I am too fat, but I love to get feeded and m too fat, but I love to get Musco does it for me.
About Goldcoinlet. He is a stupid male, but often I like it when he flirts with me, but only when I get feeded. I know that is unfair against Musco, because he get jealoused. BUt I am very hungry and too lazy to eat on my own.

And I hate Icy. She is now second chief here and she likes it hunt me around and show me how powerful she is. But the main thing is that I am still Beauty's friend.

My hobbies are: making jokes, sports, hanging head down at milletsprays, carry favour to Beauty and try new things.
