ARTEMIS is a private cloudforest preserve in the Talamanca Mountains of Costa Rica.

It lies at an elevation of approx. 8800 ft. (2667m) and comprises 25 ha of intricate, primary forest.

The preserve is owned by a Costa Rican/American family who are trying to protect the cloudforest and open it up to others (visitors, enthusiasts, school children, volunteers).

The owners are bilingual (Spanish/English).
