Pastell Colours

Painting with pastell coulours could happen in different ways. You can use them more like a drawing and in many other different ways. The pastell Coulours are built up out of pigments and gypsum or white chalk which are bound by guumiarrabicum. The pictures must be fixed and ormaly they are framed behind glas.

Painting with pastelic colours is put down to the 1800 century. But you can find similary artificial techics before that time. Among other things artist like Edgar Degas, Pablo Picasso, Edouard Manet, Odilon Redon or Rasalba Carriera use pastic colours for their work of art.
