Hello! Welcome to this page which is dedicated to the invention of the conlang of `Ayváriþ. `Ayváriþ is a conlang based mainly on Arabic, Aramaic or Syriac and Hebrew. Imagine it as the language that was spoken by all semitic people or most of them in some parallel space to ours, where all people in this area were united.
`Ayváriþ's Alphabet (or Abjad) is based mainly on consonants and diacteristics are added above each letter to denote the short vowels, but longer vowels are denoted by letters (and sometimes combination of both).
Here I would like to introduce you to the `Ayvariþ abjad (or Abjadiþ). It is used to write from left to right with diacteristics as it is with most of the abjad systems, but the diacteristics can be neglected anyway in case the writer and reader know what they are doing!
There are some letters that have two forms: normal and final. Normal is used any where in the word and the final form (if existed) is found only at the end of the word and of course in case of any addition of any suffixes to the word the final form is then changed to normal! You will need to download the Ankh font in order to view the words and the letters properly. To listen to the sound files here, you will need Real Player. Sorry guys, but I had to make the size as compact as possible! I'm providing an example of the voice of the letter also only for those sounds are not so familiar to English alphabet and those that are not directly presented by their name.

Where any letter that has two forms, the one to the right is the final form.
There are two kinds of vowels in `Ayvariþ: short vowels and long vowels. Beside vowels there are 2 other symbols used to stress the letter and another one to denote consonant with no vowels. Long vowels are mainly made by A, OO (or W) and EE (or Y) by adding these letters after the consonants. The vowels are:

_u
Fitax
short "a" like in gnat
a
Fitax
_i
Xisir
short "i" like in sit
i
Xisir
_o
Hoom
short "u" like in pull
u
Hoom
_W
Gavva
Stress note. like L in Balloon
double letter
Gavva
_Q
Shikna
Stop sign
single letter
Shikna
_e
Fitax xaysur
Like "A" in Late but shorter
e
Fitax Xaysur (then example)
( )a
Fitax (t)arká
Long "A" as in "Man"
á
 Fitax Tarka (then example)
( )w
Hoom (t)arká
Long "U" like "oo" in "Moon"
oo
Hoom Tarka (then example)
( )y
Xisir (t)arká
Long "I" like "ee" in Seen
ee
Xisir Tarka (then example)
( e)y
Fitix xaysur (t)arká
Long like A in "Late"
ä
Fitix Xaysur Tarka (then example)

Sometimes the writer might need to add diacteristics on a long-vowel letter to make sure that the reader will not read it as a long vowel but as a letter by itself. Whenever Xisir or Hoom are placed upon Aleef, then Aleef is considered a glottal stop guided by that short vowel (i.e. I or U) even when it comes in the middle of the word or at the end of it.
Gavva is by default a doubling of the letter with inherited vowel of "a." Whenever another "short" vowel is required, the diacteristics for this short vowel is place beside the Gavva.

Here are some categories for the words' lists, and they shall be always under construction. Please feel free to email me for any new suggestions or additions for new words in any category. In case you would like to contribute to the words list, please just sned me the invented word (written in my notation) and it must be derived from at least 2 languages from the main 3: Arabic, Aramaic and Hebrew, so kindly beside the invented word mention for me the original 2 or 3 words that you've composed your invention from! I might fix something with words sent to me but at the end I shall put it here with the name or email of the contributor beside it. Notice please that not all words sent to me might be published...I'm Sorry!! I'm only human! ^_^
