| Wes Mannion:
Not
only is Wes the Director of Australia Zoo, but also Steve's best mate
and right-hand man. Since 1985, when Wes first joined the Australia Zoo
team, he has had the privilege of appearing in almost 60% of Steve and
Terri's documentaries, as well as assisting in rescues such as the
recent Croc rescues in East Timor. Wes' main responsibility is to ensure
the zoo runs smoothly and to make major decisions that need to be made.
He also helps out with the design and development of enclosures as well
as, or course, getting "hands on" with the animals. Helping
design exhibits and working with reptiles is what Wes loves best,
especially when it has to do with venomous snakes! |
